PetSafe In-Ground Dog Fence Replacement Transmitter & Lightning Protection Module – RF-1010/RF-125

Lightning is the #1 Cause of Damage to Underground Dog Fence Transmitters. Lightning strikes, even miles away, can create powerful surges or spikes which may damage your electronic in-ground fence.

In nearly every case, damage to the transmitter results from power surges or spikes traveling through the Boundary Wire and not the power adapter. The dog fence boundary wire in your yard acts like a giant antenna drawing in any current transmitted through the ground during a lightning strike, even if that strike is hundreds of yards away. PetSafe Pet Fence Lightning Protection is designed to stop the lightning surge before it reaches the dog fence transmitter. Our Pet Fence Lightning Protection Module can be used for any brand of underground dog fence.

The PetSafe In-Ground Dog Fence Transmitter is for All PetSafe or Pet Guardian Brand Dog Fences, it will work with any of the PetSafe or Pet Guardian brand dog fence collars except for the UltraSmart and YardMax collars. Covers up to 25 acres.
